2024 Riesling Westhofener Kirchspiel GG
VINODLING: Vingården Westhofen Kirchspiel där utvalda delar från de äldsta vinrankorna från främst delar högre upp på vingårdsluttningen använts.
JORDMÅN: Kalksten, märgel och lera
VINIFIKATION: Druvorna skördades för hand i början på oktober och fick därefter jäsa på stora gamla ekfat. Vinet vilade sedan på sin jästfällning i ca 9 månader och ytterligare tid på flaska innan det släpptes. Det enda som tillförts vinet är en minimal andel svavel före buteljeringen.

The 2024 Kirchspiel Westhofen Riesling GG is clear, fresh and intense on the tangy, concentrated and lemony nose that intermingles saline and ripe stone fruit aromas. Full-bodied, refined and elegant on the palate, this is an intense, textural, very long, mouthwatering and grippy Kirchspiel with intense, almost opulent fruit yet a clear, fresh and well-defined finish. This has excellent aging potential yet should be kept in the cellar for another 3-5 years. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Westhofen, August 2025.
